This place suits me perfectly, offering free Wi-Fi in rooms, a seasonal outdoor pool, and a cute atmosphere. The staff helped me find my lost necklace during my first stay, which I remember fondly. Young Manolis at the bar makes every visit special with his attentive service. I highly recommend enjoying the infinity pool for a relaxing experience. I'm coming back for a romantic escape!

The honest truth about this
The location is fantastic! Just a short walk to the town center and fine ocean views at the pool. Plus, the staff are really good, always smiling and providing thoughtful surprises!
Unfortunately, the rooms felt dated and the food temperature could be better. Noise from doors and hallways detracted from the overall comfort.

The hotel really did exactly as it advertised and actually was very nice and better than many more expensive hotels that exist in the resort. One point to mention was the quality of the food and the service in the restaurant. Very good - top marks and once again much better than what I've experienced in other more prominent hotels in the resort. Fabulous views from the sea view rooms
Slightly uneasy about using the pool, would like to see more evidence of regular cleaning. Would be happy to be corrected if this is wrong or unfair.

I did not like the all inclusive system. It is not really all incl!! You can go for lunch or dinner only once, no tea or coffee. The staff was rude... And the hotel is very old (like back to 1990!), the air condition did not cooled the room.

Really good service from the staff. They were always friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety, including delicious vegetarian dishes. The lack of sufficient sun loungers and umbrellas was frustrating, especially during peak hours. I found the evening meals to be consistently lukewarm, lacking the usual warmth I expect from a hotel of this quality.

Good food in restaraunt, attentive staff. Good room with great sea view. Not too noisy.
Despite signs saying sun beds on pool terrace could not be reserved we had to do so early on in the day or all were taken by guests towels - many of whom seemed to leave their beds unoccupaied most of the day. No need to have music around the pool.

enjoyable stay with room for improvement
The staff were attentive. They surprised my daughter with a lovely cake for her birthday, made the occasion even more special. The premium king room offered a modern and comfortable atmosphere with a fine view of the sea, which we appreciated.

The staff were very helpful and kind, especially towads my child. Service and assistance was professional and efficient. The location, though busy, was very convenient as it was within walking distance to shops, the beach and cafes and restaurants. The breakfast and dinner were plentiful and of good quality, incorporating both cretan and international components in their menu. The bathroom with its shower was wonderful!
The rooms smelt a little musty and manouvering luggage on the fourth floor with steps was difficult.

The hotel iberostar hermes was in a good location the food was of a very good quality. The salt pool was very good.
Although the food was of a high quality there was not a lot of choice, perhaps as a result of the hotel not being completely full.

Excellent location, fantastic food and clean, well appointed rooms. However, the air conditioning did not work too well in our room and would have liked WiFi available in the rooms. (Only available in public areas).
